Students rewarded for good service

LifeSource came to Glenbard South on Wednesday, February 22, for the school’s annual blood drive. Students and staff of all ages lined up to donate for the amazing cause. Junior Patrick Poirier volunteered at the blood drive. “The blood drive is a great way for high school students to find a way to contribute to society in a way that adults do on a daily basis,” said Poirier.

Fortunately for these Raiders, Students for Students also held an ice cream social right after school and distributed fudge popsicles. Senior Amanda Herrmann went to the commons to pick up a popsicle after donating blood. “It was a nice way to rejuvenate after donating blood.”
