      The joint Glenbard Bowling team, made up of athletes from Glenbard East and Glenbard South had just reached its highest milestone in program history, having had brought home its first ever regional championship as a team.

      The Glenbard co-op placed first out of ten schools, having finished with 6,054 points, 361 points higher than the next closest team. The team captain Glenbard South Senior Kyle Bailey, led the team and individually placed first as an individual at the IHSA Regional, with a score of 1,413 points. 

     The team also brought home an Upstate 8 conference championship, having won the conference tournament by a score of 3361-2585. “It’s cool going undefeated in conference, then making history by getting first in regionals,” stated Bailey. “The team will feel super confident going into sectionals and expect big scores from everyone.”

      The Ramders (East Rams and South Raiders) season continued with the sectional tournament having been on Saturday, January 25th, in Glendale Heights. The boys took home the title of sectional champions and Bailey won individual sectional champion while Tom Reiche (Sr.) placed  third. 

     The team then advanced to the IHSA state finals in O’Fallon where the boys finished in the top 24. Bailey and Anthony Pope (Sr.) were selected to  compete in the state finals as individuals. Kyle Bailey placed eighth in the state, which earned him all state recognition.
