In a blink of an eye
Reluctantly yet invisibly
Was it that a phantom’s touch consumed me?
My body couldn’t take it anymore
The cold sweat tickled down my wretched face
“We don’t have to welcome death so early”
said the voice from my slate veins,
At that point leaving it’s pox on my neck and it’s chicken in my head.
Pain embraced me
But I didn’t
So I was suffering the consequences
The bitter sunlight disrupts my sleep
accompanied by the mean earlybirds,
I’m sweating while uttering those empty words to me
as my throat clenched and my eyes dilated,
“I need you” dreadingly
Somewhere in the midst of another world on a microscopic level I couldn’t see,
Something unburies the truth in my human
Wait, you will never return to this place?
But it replied “till death do us part sweetheart”
