It is very important to try new things. It can make you feel accomplished and happier. Once you try new foods like vegetables or fruits, you’ll get positive nutrition for your body. After a constant routine of waking up early, going to school, doing sports and then having a ton of homework, wouldn’t it be fun to try something different, to change it up?

A Noodles and Company just moved closer to the school in Danada Square. The menu is what you would expect, noodles. But they have so many different options like Roasted Garlic Cream Tortelloni (yum!) or Med Salad with Grilled Chicken.

I recently went to a restaurant called Raymes. I’ve never been there and I got lemon chicken, it was super good and if I ever go there again that’s definitely what I’ll order.

Another place in Chicago that’s relatively new is “Bloom Plant Based Garden”. It’s vegetarian and vegan. A dish they make called “tomato flatbread with sweet tamarind saba and a cauliflower crust” would be my first pick.

One last place named Lardon has a 4.6 star rating and they have salumi and cheeses. It looks like a beautiful place, resembling Labriola in Oakbrook.

I know Glenbard South has many vegan and vegetarians, so I found a great cookbook, BOSH!: Simple Recipes * Amazing Food * All Plants (BOSH Series). It has a great rating and all the dishes look fairly easy and look amazing.

Also for desserts, a great cookbook called BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts, looks amazing. It also has a great rating and there’s pictures of dishes people have made, like pop tarts, Oreos and cake!

Thanks for reading and I hope you can go out and give a new restaurant a try or cook a new dish for a little change!
