With the slow but sure approach to the spring, the majority of winter sports have officially ended their seasons. A cancellation of some spring sports last year left many athletes disappointed but they all are currently back and running this year! With the transition to spring sports, it is a good time to look back at the achievements and history that was made within a specific winter team. The girls dance team had a historical season this 2021-2022 school year, making it to state. With both the team’s and the coaches’ dedication, South’s team made 11th place at state, something never done before in Glenbard South history. As previously shared, the girls participated in a home hosted Upstate 8 Conference on January 5th where they ranked 3rd and continued having successful meets. The team headed to the first day of state on January 28th, 2022 and completed their second day successfully on January 29th, 2022. The Glenbard South community has been extremely supportive and thankful for the great season the girls had this year and for the more to come!
