Homecoming Week is a very fun time and this year, the windows in the commons were painted by students from the art department. On September 20th, Seniors Lea Gajinov, Stefani Malyshivska, Lidija Gajinov and Aisha Sudhir each painted a commons room window. Each window matched a grade’s decade, as the Homecoming theme was Dancing Through the Decades. Freshmen were the 90s, Sophomores were the 80s, Juniors were the 70s, and Seniors were the 20s. The 20s cartoon was Steamboat Willie, painted by Lea Gajinov. The 70s cartoon was Scooby Doo, painted by Stefani Malyshivska. The 80s cartoon was Garfield, painted by Lidija Gajinov. Lastly, the 90s cartoon was the Powerpuff girls,  painted by Aisha Sudhir. Each artist did an incredible job on their paintings.
