Freshmen welcomed to South

On Monday, August 15th, Glenbard South held its freshmen orientation. The junior and senior Link Crew leaders, alongside of advisers Mrs. Cindy Demos and Ms. Pacheco, led this orientation. The freshmen arrived at the gym at 12:00 p.m. and went through a variety of activities and then broke-off into smaller groups. Within these smaller groups, there were ten freshmen and two link leaders. The leaders led the freshmen through a variety of activities such as touring the school, receiving a list of “ten things every freshman should know” and playing “name tag,” to further introduce them to South along with introducing them to each other. The orientation then ended with a barbeque for all the freshmen and their families.
