On Saturday, May 21, Glenbard South hosted its prom on the Spirit of the Chicago at Navy Pier. Students boarded coach buses at Ackerman, which then dropped them off at Navy Pier. Students then boarded the boat and had their pictures taken with the Chicago skyline in the background. The boat then left the dock at 8:30 p.m. and went around Lake Michigan for two hours. The boat itself had three stories with dance floors on the first and second decks and a spectacular view of the city. Compared to last year, junior Julia Tillack said, “The whole experience was an amazing one to remember. I loved the skyline, and it was so relaxing yet fun.”
