PARCC testing schedule

The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers created the PARCC assessments in mathematics and English for K-12 to replace previous state standardized tests. The association believes that its set of tests not only evaluates a student’s progress, but also provides better information to identify where a student may need help or where he or she excels, so that his or her instruction can be molded to fit the needs of each individual test taker. Below, is Glenbard South’s schedule for the testing days:
March 15 Testing Schedule*
| Freshmen | Only students enrolled in Extended English, English 1, and English 1 Honors will take Unit 1 of the PARCC Assessment in English Language Arts and will come at the normal start time. |
| Sophomore – Seniors | Late Arrival for all students not enrolled in the courses listed above.
School will begin at 9:55am. |
