Recently, all the Glenbard South students flocked to the gym to hear the traditional “Holiday Convo.” Over 200 students participated in the musical performance, encompassing the orchestra, band and all of the choirs. This year, members of the senior class stood up to honor Isaiah Jackson, a junior who was diagnosed with leukemia. The convocation in all its entirety celebrated the season’s most valuable meaning, the spirit of giving. And yes, the teachers sang along to “Hallelujah Chorus,” and yes, it was the crowd favorite.
