The rise of the Legion
Blizzard Entertainment’s newest World of Warcraft expansion Legion is set to release on August 30, 2016. This expansion sees the world of Azeroth on the brink of destruction as the invasion of The Burning Legion, an endless army of demons bent on the destruction of all creation, launches an attack against the members of the Alliance and Horde. With the release of the expansion, players will be able to play the new class:the Demon Hunter. Wielding demonic powers alongside martial prowess, the Demon Hunter is great for those players who yearn for flashy attacks paired with sizable damage (and shooting eye lasers never hurt either).
This expansion also gives players the ability to make use of some of Azeroth’s greatest weapons, and then tailor the player’s weapon to suit their playstyle. These “artifact weapons” are highly customizable. The look, sounds and abilities change based on how the player uses it. In Legion the fighting against the infinite demon hordes will be fought on The Broken Isles. This continent will feature hundreds of new quests to complete, monsters to slay and loot to find as players make their journey to level 110.
Along with new dungeons and raids, each class will be able to go on an epic quest chain with other members of the same class in order to help stave off the Legion’s advance in a unique and community driven way. Even then, there are still many more features and experiences coming with Legion, including an instant boost to level 100 for any character, so that every player can get into the action as soon as the expansion is released. One thing is for certain, Azeroth will never be the same. Legion is available for $49.99 standard edition, and $69.99 for the deluxe edition at https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/world-of-warcraft-legion.
