As an absolute foodie, Chipotle has always been one my favorites for delicious Mexican food. Although I have tried to branch out to other types of restaurants and eateries, this Mexican grill in particular has been the go-to for a delicious meal prepared in the matter of minutes. Without a doubt, Chipotle has most definitely been quality in terms of its service, cleanliness and its scrumptious food.

When I first walked into Chipotle four years ago, I never expected that this restaurant would provide the greatest service. The employees at the counter greeted me with a warm welcome, and the fresh aroma of the food filled the unique-looking restaurant. The rustic touch of the restaurant and metallic walls, tables and chairs created a warm atmosphere. This eatery was very clean and organized because there was absolutely no litter on the floor and the wait lines were never too slow for the customers. As I finished my first burrito bowl, I was already excited to come back for my next visit.

As for the actual food, there is definitely a lot of choice for a variety of people. There is cuisine for kids, vegetarians, non-vegetarians or even customers who love immense burritos. Since there is a wide selection of options, one can choose to eat brown or white rice, black or brown beans, many types of meat (chicken, steak, carnitas, and barbacoa) and fajita veggies which costs $1.50. Additionally, sofritas, a type of tofu, is a vegetarian option–costing $1.25–which is also available to eat as well. Fortunately, these preferences let everyone have his own unique bowl or burrito. To top it off, customers can add diced tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, the new melted queso, which is my personal favorite, guacamole and lettuce. Undoubtedly, these extras are definitely the “sprinkle on top.” Unfortunately, at a few Chipotle restaurants, the employees do not let their customers put a mix of white/brown rice or chicken and steak. Although some customers may not like this rule, the positives absolutely outweigh the negatives.

Moreover, my go-to burrito bowl has always been white rice, black beans and chicken while I continuously top it off with lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, cheese and corn–each additional topping is 75 cents. The portion size is always adequate since the food fills the oval-like bowl perfectly, and I can finish the meal in one sitting. As a side, guacamole and tortilla chips, costing $3.25, is most definitely my favorite snack. Luckily, this type of restaurant allows customers to wait in line and view the vast number of options on the board at the front. Then, friends and family can sit at a booth or traditional table wherever they prefer. Also, customers can take their food to-go as another preference as well.
Price-wise, the food and drinks are very affordable for lunch or dinner as a healthy option. Usually, my meal always costs around $7.00-$7.50, which is very inexpensive, but the price value is definitely worth it.
Additionally, this chain restaurant has locations in the suburbs, large cities and even little towns in the nation. Chipotle is situated on Butterfield Road in Wheaton and Lombard and on Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn. Also, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. everyday of the week.

All in all, I would rate this restaurant 5/5 stars because of its quality of food, service and overall feel. The staff is very kind and helpful to its customers as well. I would recommend this eatery to anyone who loves Mexican food.
