Raider sports were on full display tonight at the Blue and White Scrimmage Night at Glenbard South. All of the fall sports participated, ranging from football all the way to the Glenbard South dance team.

The girls tennis team, boys soccer team, and both cross country teams started off the evening’s festivities. The tennis team had a scrimmage with the varsity and junior varsity teams combining and playing each other. The boys soccer team did the same, with junior forward Spencer Pyle scoring five goals during the impressive display. Both cross country teams each ran a mile long time trial to show off their abilities to the crowd.

Nick Kotalik (12) and Camryn Fitzmaurice (12) take some chipping practice.

Both boys and girls golf set up a demonstration allowing all guests to take a turn taking full shots, putts, and chips. Dean Amy Velasquez and Assistant Principal Cuny both took turns as well, having fun competing against one another.

The boys football team scrimmaged after each team made an appearance on the field in front of a crowd eagerly looking forward to the start of the 2017-18 school year, as well as a brand new Raider Sports season.
