Does Trump really have a chance?

All throughout his campaign, Donald Trump has been under attack from every politician, every political website and even the President himself. But with all of the hate, does he really have a chance at becoming the next president of the United States? Yes, he does. Every time someone blames him for something or tries to tell him off, he always has a response, and statistics show every time he responds, his poll numbers go up as much as 6% in each state.

Every politician knew that the Indiana primary was a tipping point in the Republican race, and Trump was just about to reach the golden number of delegates, 1237, and Cruz was starting to catch up. It was do or die for both of them. Furthermore, politicians and government workers were scared of having Trump in office, so a lot of them started to bash Trump straight to the media. But even with all of the hate, Trump still pulled ahead in the polls and won the Indiana primary, practically guaranteeing his spot as the Republican nominee.

Also, a couple days after the Indiana primary, Cruz and John Kasich both decided to suspended their campaigns and drop out of the race.

“The reason we suspended the race last week was that with Indiana’s loss I didn’t see a viable path to victory. If that changes we will certainly respond accordingly,” said Ted Cruz.

Now guaranteeing that Trump will be the republican nominee and after some controversy, he will get the support of the republican party. Both Cruz and Kasich dropped out but still will not support Trump in his race to the White House.

Now, all Trump has to do is defeat Hillary Clinton, and with the backing of the Republican party, he has a very good chance of winning. Especially after a poll between the two, Trump had 41% of voters votes as Hillary had 40%, with 19% undecided. It will be a very close race with Trump leading the way.
